What communication options are there?
The data center offers various services to maintain communication:
- Video conferencing server: The BigBlueButton service is available for TU members (i.e. students and staff). This can be used for meetings of working groups in the scientific field, but also for meetings between students and, of course, for exchanges between lecturers and students. We have also provided important information on the use of the service in the context of digitizing lectures in the documentation for the service.
- Communication via chat server(Rocketchat) - also via chat client/desktop app
- Telephone (forwarding, answering machine, conferences, etc.)
- Communication via e-mail (as usual)
We are constantly expanding the capacities of our already established services.
We would be grateful for any suggestions for possible enhancements or the reporting of errors that occur during use. As far as necessary, we will examine the provision of additional services to facilitate work in the home office or to expand the possibilities.
