IT security at Clausthal University of Technology

IT security is becoming increasingly important and is permeating more and more areas of our daily lives. However, it stands and falls with the behavior of the users of IT systems. In order to provide support here, the employees of the Computer Center are on hand with advice and, if necessary, assistance. In addition, the Executive Board of Clausthal University of Technology has set up an IT security working group and adopted an IT security guideline.

The RZ offers training courses on IT security - please email us to ask for a date. Depending on the number of inquiries received or the desire to inform a large number of employees in an institution about IT security, we will then set a date for the event.

IT security working group

The working group developed the policy and is tasked with continuously improving it. In the event of an incident, it is to structure and monitor the procedures and processes, and it also serves as a point of contact for strategic IT security issues within Clausthal University of Technology.
