    The Computer Center takes care of the procurement and billing of hardware and software required on the TU Clausthal campus.

  • Documentation for users

    The Computer Center provides an extensive number of services for students and employees of Clausthal University of Technology as well as for third parties, which are defined and presented in the service catalog.

  • RZ-Helpdesk

    The RZ-Helpdesk is a central point of contact between users and the computer center. Here you will find personal contacts for IT problems in the university area

  • PKI infrastructure and certificates

    The computer center is responsible for applying for and issuing server and user certificates. The corresponding certificates are registered and issued signed by the certification authority of Clausthal University of Technology (DFN-PKI service).

  • Advice on the selection of hardware and software

    The institutions can obtain advice on the selection of hardware and software. The software consultation also considers the procedures/processes that are to be supported by the software.

  • Data protection for the administration

    Data protection issues arising from the use of application software are coordinated with TU Clausthal's data protection officer.

  • Training courses

    Department 2 offers training for special IT procedures as required. As a rule, the offer is limited to training on in-house developments or topics for which no training is offered by third parties.
